Kolejne "dzieło" do kolekcji 
3 miesiące trwało zrobienie tej dioramy, wymagało prawie samych eksperymentów, ale chyba się opłacało
Scenka rodzajowa, przedstawiająca napad wikingów na ziemię sasów (bądź anglo-sasów). Miejsce - niesprecyzowane, tak samo dzisiejsza Saksonia jak i w-py Brytyjskie, lekko w głębi lądu, ale wciąż niedaleko morza.
Jak widać, wikingowie zaatakowali sasów z zaskoczenia, więc obrona jest dosyć niezorganizowana.
Wikingowie są prowadzeni przez konunga i jarla, w ich szeregach klasyczna mieszanka różnych ludzi, nawet i paru finów się znajdzie (dwóch łuczników i oszczepnik). Wszyscy niemal tak samo dobrze uzbrojeni i wyposażeni.
Sasi natomiast prezentują klasycze pospolite ruszenie, czyli chłopi, bez zbroi, z włóczniami bądź toporami. Dowodzi thegn na wzgórzu (najwyższy rangą
i drugi thegn z mieczem.
Sas trafiany strzałą, choć uzbrojenie ma bogate (miecz i hełm) - thegnem nie jest.
Pierwszy raz robiłem tak poważną dioramę, ale była przy tym masa zabawy Efekt - oceńcie sami, a poniżej link do większej ilości zdjęć

Another one to collection
It took me 3 months to build this diorama, almost only experimenting, but the outcome is worth the time I think.
Diorama depicts a viking raid on a saxon (or anglo-saxon) lands, inland, but still near the sea. Might be as well somewhere on the British Isles or Sachsen.
Vikings took them by surprise as we can see, so the defense is rather desperate and unorganized.
Vikings are lead by konung and a jarl and among their ranks is a classic mix of various men - you can even find some Fins there (two archers and a javeliner). Almost all of them are well armed and equipped.
Saxons represent typical for those times "fyrd", an army made from ordinary peasants, armed with nothing more than spears or axes at best.
They are lead by a thegn standing on the cliffs (highest rank) and by the one below. Saxon getting hit by an arrow isn't a thegn, though he wears an expencive helmet and a sword.
It's my first so serious diorama, hence a lot of experiments, but it were a lot of fun

It's an awesome piece of work and was indeed worth the time. It looks like it's somewhere along the South-East coast of Britain, maybe even the county of Kent, where I live, we have quite a few 'white cliffs' here!
