The Grey Champion

...little men knew, and was aware of the fact, that Ordo Malleus also has their champions. They rarely appeared on the battlefield, as rarely Grey Knights found themselves in peril such great as to really need their champion. However, sometimes one was put into fray, when even more devastating impact on the enemy morale was needed, for indeed can the Grey Knights be fearless, their enemies certainly - cannot.
Those Grey Champions, are clad in something half way between Aegis armour and Terminator armour. Almost not ornated and plain, represents the purity - the main value for the Knights, and offers even a little higher level of protection.
Their weapons - a bolt pistol with blessed ammo and a Nemesis Broadsword - massive, two handed weapon, which can bring judgement with one slash even unto the mighty Daemon Prince."

Znów mała historyjka na górze Zdaję sobie sprawę z tego, że - parafrazując reklamę - "każdy ma czempiona, mam i ja!", ale co zrobić... Wzór tej figurki jest naprawdę świetny i po prostu chce się go mieć. Choć, muszę przyznać, że malowało się go fajnie, to jednak - nic ponad przeciętną. Generalnie figurka jest prosta, bez nadmiernej ilości broni czy detali - dlatego świetnie nadaje się na konwersje wszelakie (a widziałem naprawdę udane), ja postanowiłem się w takie rzeczy nie bawić jednak i po prostu pomalować go na modłę Szarych Rycerzy.
Tym razem heraldyka obecna w formie asa pik - symbolu walki i śmierci. Ale poszedłem prostszą drogą i jest to tylko kalkomania
Jako, że jest to osobista heraldyka tegoż czempiona - odpada problem powtarzania kalki, jeśli sprawię sobie więcej Szarych

Again a small background at the top I do realize, that almost anyone have this one, but what can I do... It's close to the top on my awesomeness-meter and I just couldn't resist having him. Though I must admit, that he was fun to paint, unfortunately nothing above the average. The mini is really plain and simple, without a tremendous amount of details, byt that I guess is main advantage in converting him (and I saw really good examples!), but I decided to go straight ahead and give him paint job derived from my GK's This time - heraldry present in a form of ace of spades, symbol of fight and death. But don't worry - it's a decal, not a freehand
And, as it's Champion's personal heraldry, I've no problem in getting more of this design in case I get me more Greys
